It's a rainy Tuesday here in South Carolina and is turning out to be an exciting day full of Gamecocks football news. First, Steve Spurrier got after Ron Morris (sports writer for The State) at the Tuesday press conference and wants to disassociate his team from him.
Then it was released that finally Stephen Garcia is dismissed from the Carolina Gamecocks. As a young man that has seemed to have issues with staying on track at Carolina, I hope that he can learn from this and grow up. He's a college graduate and a father and needs to learn to be an adult.
Thankfully, Connor Shaw played well on Saturday at the quarterback position and now the team can move forward as a unit and hopefully win out the rest of the season.
